| Job Description | Mediclinic Middle East are looking for compassionate and highly skilled Anesthesia Technician professional for a newly available position at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital, Al Garhoud, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Mediclinic Welcare is a modern, multi-specialty 127 bed medical facility in the central hub of Dubai, Ideally located just 5 minutes from Dubai International Airport, Business Bay and Sheikh Zayed Road. The successful Anesthesia Technician candidate will work as part of the Theatre Team in providing maximum quality care to patients undergoing anaesthesia. To provide in a professional manner, skilled, clinical and technical assistance to the anaesthesiologist. |
| Requirements | Desired Skills and Experience:
Locally based candidates with 2-5 years experience in Anaesthesia will be given preference, but we are happy to consider candidates from overseas, who have the desired experience and qualifications •Graduate of Bachelor Degree in Anesthesia Technology OR Completion of Anesthesia Technician Program with minimum 2 years duration from a recognized institution/college |
| Key Outputs | •Perform a variety of technical and supportive patient care tasks to assist attending anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists in performing anesthetic procedures for patients ranging from infancy to geriatrics •Obtain supplies and equipment as requested by anesthesia providers •Prepare anesthetizing locations for indicated procedure to include setting up and calibrating monitoring devices; troubleshoot anesthesia equipment malfunctions, routing non-functional equipment to the proper department for repair •Caring for and educating patients about their conditions, as well as establishing trust and building rapport with patients and their families •Guidelines of International Patient Safety Goals and evidence based practice are adhered •Adapt and maintain a customer-focused mindset that acknowledges the importance and value of the customer, and acts accordingly •Mutually beneficial relationships are built and maintained with colleagues and multi-disciplinary team •Ensure patient records meet legal requirements and Mediclinic standards •Continuous improvement projects are implemented and monitored •Participate in Continuous Professional Development •Professional ethics, Mediclinic values and caring standards are demonstrated in behavior |
