The Purpose Of The Role
The purpose of role is to provide specialist nursing expertise on the management of patients with diabetes. The successful candidate will work as a member of the multidisciplinary team providing a patient centered, quality and seamless service. He/She will work closely with the Endocrinology team. The main area of responsibility will be the ward but as a team member will be required on occasion yo support diabetes day centre. As education is pivotal to this role he/she will be expected to be active in patient and staff teaching.
