Heart Centre Manager – Provides administrative, marketing and clinical direction for the staff of the Heart Center (Cardiology Clinic, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Non-invasive Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Inpatient Cardiology Nurse and Interventional Cardiology).

Ensures that the provision of Cardiac Patients Care under this department is efficient, cost effective, and consistent with the established protocols, evidence-based medicine, accreditation standards, and Hospital Policy and Procedure.

VACANCIES FOR NURSING IN PATIENT DEPARTMENT :

Assistant Chief Nursing Officer for Critical CareUnder the administrative direction of the CNO, the ACNO is fully responsible for all aspects of clinical nursing activities in assigned units. In conjunction with the Unit Managers, the ACNO will direct, assign and delegate hospital nursing clinical activities as required to ensure optimal patient care.

In the absence of the CNO, the ACNO will represent the CNO in the entire scope of the CNO’s responsibilities.

ER Senior Staff NurseA Senior Registered professional Nurse who provides direct patient care and coordinates patient care-related activities using the scientific process of nursing. Nursing care given to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric population. Functions as a primary source for assistance and guidance on clinical issues to the Nursing Staff and assumes overall responsibility for the Emergency Department and Fast Track in the absence of the Head Nurse.

Obstetric NurseAn Obstetric Staff Nurse is a person whose competencies, qualifications and /or license are recognized by the local regulatory authority for registration. Assess woman, baby and family care needs.  Develop, implement and evaluate programs of care. Maintain quality care in Nursery with Immunization and Neonatal care.

Joint Replacement NurseA Registered professional Medical / Surgical Nurse who provides direct patient care and coordinates patient care-related activities using the scientific process of nursing.  Performs nursing interventions / procedures in accordance with established standards of care and policy and procedures.

OR NurseA Registered professional Nurse who provides direct patient care and coordinates patient care-related activities using the scientific process of nursing.  Fully knowledgeable of policies of procedure of the Operating Rooms. Competent to perform “on call” duties.

Endoscopy NurseProvides assistance to Physician for all GI procedures within their scope of practice. Responsible for setting up Endoscopy rooms with appropriate equipment / supplies.

Head Nurse, Medical Surgical 6th North – Western trained/educated,  BS Nursing or equivalent, 6 years demonstrated incremental leadership experience- both in clinical leadership and managerial leadership positions.

Emergency Room Manager – Western trained/educated,  BS Nursing or equivalent, 6 years demonstrated incremental leadership and management experience. Recent two years working in the Emergency Department.

Specialist training/experience, e.g. intensive care nursing, where necessary.

NICU Staff Nurse – BS Nursing or equivalent , Western trained/educated, at least 3 years post graduate experience in this speciality.

NICU Staff Nurse – BS Nursing or equivalent , Far Eastern, at least 3 years post graduate experience within the speciality.

ICU Staff Nurse – BS Nursing or equivalent , Western trained/educated at least 3 years post graduate experience within the speciality.

ICU Staff Nurse – Far Eastern, BS Nursing or equivalent, at least 3 years post graduate experience within the speciality.

Medical/Surgical Staff Nurse – BS Nursing or equivalent , Western trained/educated, at least 2 years post graduate experience.

Registered Midwife –  Direct entry, Diploma or BS in Midwifery  or equivalent, Western trained/educated, at least 3 years post graduate experience in Midwifery including labour and delivery.

Senior Midwife  To liaise, assist and interact with Head Nurse in acquiring a safe, people friendly, professional atmosphere in the unit to enhance a productive healthy working environment. Functions as a primary source for assistance and guidance on clinical issues to the Nursing Staff and assumes overall responsibility for the unit in the absence of the Head Nurse.

PACU Staff Nurse  – Western trained/educated and Far eastern required, at least 3 years post graduate experience in PACU

Health Care Assistants (Far Eastern/Asian) – Female or Male / Nursing/Midwifery graduate (license not required) / At least 2 years hospital based experience as HCA or Nursing Aid desired


STANDARD BASIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR ALL NURSING POSITIONS:

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing – duration of study is not less than three academic years from Western Accredited Institution
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and Midwifery – duration of study is not less than 3 academic years from Non-Western Accredited Institution
At least three (3) years of recent post-graduate med/surg nursing experience.
Current home country license to practice nursing
BCLS certification
• Private hospital experience desirable
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy
• Exposure to / experience of customer service principles

Credentialing Requirements of Dubai Health Authority (DHA) for Registered Nurses:

Degree certificate copies (copy of original certificate(s)& translated copy)
Experience letters from all previous employers.
Medical / Nursing license copy (front and back)
Degree Mark sheet / Transcripts for all 3.5 years / 4 years
Copy of the backside on the degree certificate ( for applicants having Afghanistan, Egyptian & Pakistani degrees/certificates)
Certificate of Authenticity and Verification (CAV) for applicants who have studied in Philippines
